Andrea Champlin is a visual artist based in New York. Originally from the Detroit area, Champlin received a BFA from Wayne State University, and an MFA from Yale University. She has participated in numerous group and solo shows in New York City, Boston, Detroit, Connecticut, and Europe, as well as residencies at Stanford University and The MacDowell Colony. Her work has been written about in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, the Huffington Post, and NYArts Magazine, among others. She was previously full-time faculty at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and is currently on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts in New York.
